Cheung Fun
1 cup + 2 tablespoons Rice Flour
1.5 tablespoons wheat starch
1.2 tablepspoons tapioca starch
1/4 tsp salt
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 cups water
Combine all ingredients, set a steamer with a greased pan inside and mix batter before pouring just enough to cover the bottom. Cover with a lid and steam for 3-5 minutes. You can either add your fillings in halfway through or after its cooled, before you roll.
Remove from steamer and let cool.
Using a spatula, roll the cheung fan. Plate and serve with sauce and green onions.
Sauce:
2 tablespoons shoyu
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons water
